Job Description

Software Test Engineer

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Software Test Engineer to join our QA team. The ideal candidate will have hands-on knowledge in both manual and automation testing. Freshers are welcome to apply, provided they have completed a recognized software testing course (Manual + Automation).

Key Responsibilities

Design and execute test cases for web and mobile applications
Perform manual testing to ensure product quality and usability
Develop and maintain automated test scripts using tools like Selenium
Identify, report, and track bugs in coordination with developers and product teams
Document test plans, test cases, and test results

Required Skills & Qualifications

0-1 year of hands-on experience in software testing (internship/project experience is valid)
Good understanding of SDLC, STLC, and defect life cycle
Proficiency in manual testing techniques and bug reporting tools (e.g., JIRA)
Basic knowledge of automation tools such as Selenium, TestNG, or similar
Strong problem-solving, communication, and analytical skills

Education

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related field
Mandatory for Freshers : Completion of a course in Software Testing (Manual + Automation)
