Job Description

Job Title:

CNC Turning Programmer & Setter

Key Responsibilities

Program, set up, and operate CNC turning centers (Fanuc controls).
Interpret engineering drawings with
GD&T
and ensure precision machining.
Perform
First-Off Inspection (FAI)
and approve jobs before production.
Optimize machining processes to achieve
cycle time reduction
and improve efficiency.
Troubleshoot machining issues and implement corrective actions.
Collaborate with quality and production teams to maintain high manufacturing standards.
Utilize CAM software knowledge (preferred but not mandatory).

Required Skills & Qualifications

Diploma in Mechanical / Production Engineering (or relevant discipline).
7 - 12 years of experience in
CNC turning programming and setting
.
Strong understanding of GD&T, tooling, and machining processes.
Experience in
precision components manufacturing
(auto components preferred).
Hands-on expertise in FAI, quality checks, and process improvement.
Knowledge of CAM software will be an added advantage.
