CNC PROGRAMMER

As a CNC Programmer, your role involves writing code to automate CNC & turning machines for cutting and finishing metal, castings, or aluminum using lathes, grinders, and mills. Key Responsibilities: - Experience in CAD/CAM programming and machining - Experience in manufacturing precision engineering components - Proficiency with FANUC controls, including understanding, interpreting, and editing FANUC G-code programming - Ability to recognize, deploy, and properly use inserts, fixtures, and tooling - Understanding and performing tool wear offsets - Fixture designing and manufacturing as per job requirements - Managing one other mechanical maintenance individual Qualifications Required: - Superior computer programming skills - Good problem-solving skills - Experience in process planning, new part introduction, and manufacturing high precision components - Knowledge of CNC plant work - Strong math skills, especially in algebra, trigonometry, and physics - Ability to work effectively with little or no supervision - Knowledge of safety measures pertinent to each job assignment If there are any additional details about the company in the job description, please provide them for a more comprehensive understanding of the role.
