CNC Operator & Setter

Job Summary

We are looking for a skilled CNC Operator to run CNC machines for the manufacturing of railway components such as switches, crossings, and expansion joints. The candidate should have hands-on experience in operating CNC turning/milling machines, interpreting technical drawings, and ensuring high-precision machining.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate CNC machines to manufacture railway components as per drawings.
• Set up tools, fixtures, and workpieces on the CNC machine.
• Interpret engineering drawings and ensure dimensional accuracy.
• Monitor machining operations and adjust parameters as required.
• Maintain machine cleanliness, preventive checks, and minor troubleshooting.
• Ensure production targets, safety, and quality standards are met.
• Coordinate with supervisors and quality inspectors for smooth workflow.

Requirements

• ITI/Diploma in Mechanical / Fitter / Machinist / CNC Operation.
• 2–5 years of hands-on experience in CNC machine operation (preferably in heavy engineering/railway components/forging/foundry).
• Knowledge of CNC programming basics (Fanuc/Siemens controls preferred).
• Ability to read and interpret mechanical drawings.
• Willingness to work in shifts.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹40,000.00 per month
