Cloud Solutions Architect

Role & responsibilities

• Cloud Architecture and Design:

  Design and architect robust, scalable, and secure cloud solutions, leveraging AWS services and best practices.

• Cloud-Native Application Architecture:

  Design and implement cloud-native applications using microservices architecture, containerization, and serverless technologies.

• AWS Expertise:

  Demonstrate extensive experience with AWS services, including EKS (Elastic Kubernetes Service), RDS (Relational Database Service), DMS (Database Migration Service), Lambda, and others.

• Microservices Architecture:

  Design and implement microservices architectures, ensuring proper communication, integration, and scalability.

• Containerization and Orchestration:

  Utilize containerization technologies (e.g., Docker) and orchestration platforms (e.g., Kubernetes) for application deployment and management.

• Message Queuing:

  Implement and manage message queuing systems (e.g., Kafka) for asynchronous communication.

• Database Management:

  Design and optimize database solutions using SQL and PL/SQL.

• Infrastructure Design Documentation:

  Create and maintain comprehensive infrastructure design documentation.

• Solution Design Documentation:

  Develop and maintain detailed solution design documentation, including architecture diagrams, specifications, and best practices.

• WAR Review:

  Participate in and lead Workload Architecture Review (WAR) processes to ensure adherence to architectural principles and best practices.

• Sizing and Cost Estimation:

  Accurately estimate the size and cost of cloud resources and solutions.

• Technical Leadership:

  Provide technical guidance and mentorship to development teams.

• Stakeholder Management:

  Collaborate effectively with business stakeholders, product owners, and development teams.

• Solution Evaluation:

  Evaluate and recommend appropriate technologies and solutions to meet business needs.

Preferred candidate profile

• Experience with other cloud platforms (e.g., Azure, GCP).
• Knowledge of other database technologies (e.g., NoSQL databases).
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines.
• Familiarity with security best practices in cloud environments.
• Industry-specific experience (e.g., finance, healthcare).
• Cloud certifications.
• Experience enabling GenAI patterns.
