About the Role:

Cloud Engineer

Key Responsibilities:

Assist in designing, building, and maintaining cloud infrastructure solutions.
Monitor system performance and ensure reliability, scalability, and security of cloud services.
Support automation of deployment, scaling, and monitoring processes using tools like Terraform, Ansible, or CloudFormation.
Collaborate with development and operations teams to support CI/CD pipelines and deployment strategies.
Participate in troubleshooting, root cause analysis, and incident resolution for cloud-based systems.
Contribute to cloud cost optimization and performance tuning activities.
Stay updated on emerging cloud technologies and best practices.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
0–2 years of experience in IT infrastructure, DevOps, or cloud engineering (internships or academic projects acceptable).
Basic understanding of cloud platforms —
AWS
,
Microsoft Azure
, or
Google Cloud Platform (GCP)
.
Familiarity with Linux/Unix system administration.
Knowledge of networking fundamentals (DNS, VPN, load balancers, firewalls).
Understanding of scripting languages such as
Python

Bash

PowerShell
.
Basic knowledge of
CI/CD pipelines
and version control tools like
Git
.
Strong problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

Certifications such as
AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner

Experience with infrastructure as code tools like
