Job Summary:

Cloud Devops Engineer

We are seeking an experienced Cloud Engineer to design, implement, and maintain our cloud infrastructure. The ideal candidate has a strong background in Infrastructure as Code (IaC), automation, serverless computing, cloud security principles, and identity management.

Key Responsibilities

Design, deploy, and manage cloud infrastructure using Terraform and other IaC tools
Develop and maintain serverless applications using AWS Lambda
Create automated workflows and solutions to improve operational efficiency
Configure and manage infrastructure automation using Ansible
Design and implement secure network architectures using Security Groups and NACLs
Architect and implement proper IAM strategies including roles, permissions, and access boundaries
Establish clear security personas and role-based access control models
Ensure principle of least privilege is applied across all cloud resources
Troubleshoot and resolve operational incidents across cloud environments
Collaborate with development teams to implement infrastructure requirements
Ensure infrastructure complies with security best practices and organizational policies

Required Skills & Experience

4+ years of experience in cloud engineering roles (AWS)
Strong proficiency with Terraform for infrastructure provisioning
Experience developing and deploying AWS Lambda functions and event-driven architectures
Demonstrated expertise in building automation solutions for infrastructure management
Experience with GitHub for version control and GitHub Actions for CI/CD
Advanced knowledge of Ansible for configuration management
Deep understanding of network security concepts including Security Groups and NACLs
Expertise in IAM, permission models, and implementing security boundaries
Experience designing and implementing role-based access control systems
Understanding of security personas and how to map technical controls to business roles
Experience with incident response and operational troubleshooting
Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills for complex infrastructure issues
Knowledge of monitoring and observability tools

Preferred Qualifications

Relevant cloud certifications (AWS Solutions Architect, Certified SysOps Administrator or AWS Certified DevOps Engineer certification etc.)
Knowledge of containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes)
Experience with infrastructure monitoring and logging solutions
Background in DevOps practices and methodologies
Experience with Python, Node.js, or other languages commonly used for automation
Familiarity with event-driven architecture patterns
Experience with implementing service control policies and permission boundaries
