Job Overview:

We are seeking a seasoned Pre-Sales and Post-Sales Deployment Engineer to join our team, specializing in Data Center Infrastructure, Cloud, and Automation Technologies. This role bridges both the pre-sales engagement phase and the post-sales deployment lifecycle, requiring a balance of technical expertise, customer interaction, and solution delivery capabilities.

The ideal candidate will work closely with customers, partners, internal sales teams, and engineering teams to design, present, and deploy modern IT infrastructure observability solutions (AIOps), ensuring a smooth transition from proof-of-concept to production.

Key Responsibilities:

Pre Sales Responsibilities:

• Engage with customers during the discovery phase to understand their technical requirements, pain points, and use cases.
• Assist the sales team with solution architecture, product demonstrations, and technical presentations.
• Design and document proposed solutions aligning with customer environments and business needs.
• Lead Proof-of-Concept (POC) deployments and evaluations, ensuring successful execution and customer satisfaction.
• Provide technical input to RFPs/RFIs and support proposal development.

Post-Sales Deployment Responsibilities:

• Lead and execute (hands-on) production deployments of complex infrastructure, automation, and observability (AIOps) solutions.
• Collaborate with customer and partner technical teams for environment readiness, integration, and configuration.
• Develop and automate deployment processes using tools like Ansible, Terraform, or similar orchestration tools.
• Deploy and configure Containerized applications on Kubernetes clusters and lifecycle management.
• Proficient in AWS, Azure, or GCP cloud services as part of hybrid or multi-cloud solutions.
• Deploy and integrate observability solutions such as Prometheus, Zabbix, Grafana, ensuring comprehensive monitoring and alerting.
• Integrate solutions with ITSM tools like ServiceNow, Jira, for incident, change, and problem management workflows.
• Create detailed deployment documentation, standard operating procedures (SOPs), and knowledge transfer materials for customers and partners.
• Provide technical support during post-deployment hypercare periods, addressing any issues promptly.

Required Skills & Expertise:

Technical Proficiency:

10 to 15 years of experience in deploying and managing:

• Data Center Infrastructure: Virtualization (VMware, Hyper-V), Servers (x86-based), Networking, and Storage Arrays etc.
• Cloud Platforms: Proficiency in at least one major cloud provider (AWS, Azure, GCP).
• Container Platforms: Kubernetes cluster setup, scaling, and management.
• Automation and Scripting: Bash, Python, and tools like Ansible, Terraform.
• Observability/Monitoring: Zabbix, Prometheus, Grafana, or equivalent tools.
• ITSM Platforms: ServiceNow, Jira, or similar.

Soft Skills:

• Strong customer engagement capabilities, both technical and non-technical.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills to explain complex technical topics to varied audiences.
• Ability to document solutions and provide structured knowledge transfer sessions.
• Collaborative mindset to work across multiple teams and geographies.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Professional certifications in cloud (AWS, Azure, GCP), virtualization (VMware VCP), or Kubernetes (CKA/CKAD).
• Experience in infrastructure security best practices.
