Cloud Architect - Distributed Systems

As an experienced cloud and software architect, you will have the following responsibilities: - Serve as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) for Cloud Service Provider-specific services such as AWS and Azure. - Collaborate with the Product team to ensure solutions are aligned on the cloud platform. - Proactively align Newgen solutions with emerging Cloud services and technologies. - Design cloud solution architecture for customers in collaboration with the implementation team. - Develop Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for efficient cloud management. - Optimize Cloud Architecture in terms of cost, performance, and other factors. - Contribute to the creation of a knowledge base for future reference by the production support team. Qualifications required for this role include: - 6+ years of experience in cloud and software architecture. - Strong knowledge of Azure, AWS, Kubernetes, ECS, and AKS. - Experience in designing microservices and secure distributed systems. - Ability to define and maintain system architecture across cloud platforms (Azure, AWS). - Proficiency in designing microservices architecture with containerization (ECS, AKS). - Experience in evaluating new technologies for platform enhancements. - Skilled in leading design and code reviews. - Ability to collaborate with DevOps teams on deployment strategies. - Capability to ensure scalability, security, and compliance of systems. - Experience in mentoring developers on architectural best practices.
