Cloud Architect (AWS/GCP)

The Cloud Architect will provide technical leadership and expertise in AWS and GCP cloud services and will also manage a larger team.

• Lead the design and implementation of cloud architectures on AWS and GCP.
• Provide technical leadership and mentorship to the cloud architecture team.
• Develop and maintain architectural standards and best practices.
• Lead pre-sales efforts, generating intelligent outcomes for clients by whiteboarding their current infrastructure and proposing architectural solutions to migrate and enhance their infrastructure from on-premise to cloud environments.
• Ensure the scalability, performance, and security of cloud architectures.
• Conduct architectural reviews and provide recommendations for improvements.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest cloud technologies and trends.

• Bachelor s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
• 8-10 years of experience with at least 5+ years of hands-on experience in Cloud Computing (AWS/GCP/Azure) and IT operations in a global enterprise environment.
• Extensive DevOps experience, with proficiency in containers, Docker, Kubernetes (or equivalent), and using these technologies for the architecture of multi-region, load-balanced, resilient microservices platforms.
• Strong Linux skills, with RedHat/Centos or Ubuntu/Debian preferred. Windows Server experience is a plus.
• Deep knowledge of automation tools such as Ansible, Puppet, or Chef.
• Experience with hardened operating systems, security concerns, bastions, and DMZs.
• A "do whatever it takes to deliver" mindset with a focus on continuous improvement.
• Ability to architect solutions, conduct extensive research, and iteratively improve and re-architect as needed.
• Strong leadership and team management skills.
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Proven experience in designing and implementing scalable, high-performance cloud solutions.
• Ability to work in a dynamic, young environment with intercultural aspects.
