Job Description

Job Title:

Responsibilities:

  • Must have sound knowledge of Life Insurance products (Individual & Group) and processes (specifically Claims).
  • Must be able to analyse and outline the claims process from intake through adjudication and payment, to identify areas for improvement.
  • Should have working knowledge of the Majesco ClaimVantage product.
  • Must be able to liaise with business and technical teams to understand current systems and processes, compiling detailed business requirements documents (BRDs) and system requirements while focusing on out-of-the-box (OOTB) platform capabilities.
  • Must be able to convert the business requirements into Business Processes / EPICs / Features / User Stories aligned with client requirements.
  • Should be able to create field-level mappings for configuring interfaces to support the claims process.
  • Must be able to facilitate meetings, discovery workshops with client stakeholders to gather and document requirements and explore potential solutions.
  • Should be able to understand upstream and downstream application integration within the claims domain, identifying and documenting interdependencies.
  • Should be able to investigate and resolve claims-related issues, providing strategic recommendations to reduce errors and improve claims processing efficiency.
  • Should be able to train and provide support to end-users on new systems and processes.
  • Must work as a single point of contact for the client's SME and Business team.
  • Must have working knowledge of Agile frameworks like SCRUM, Kanban, SAFe.
  • Must be able to identify test scenarios for the QA team; support UAT.
  • Should be able handle client demo sessions and answer queries.

Soft Skills

  • Should have excellent communication (written and oral) and interpersonal skills, with special focus on active listening.
  • Should be able to build the storyline and communicate fluently on complex topics related to business processes.
  • Should be able to drive/lead the discovery and requirement gathering conversations.
  • Should be able to build good rapport with all the client stakeholders, project team members and project key stakeholders.
  • Should have the ability to work independently and in a team environment.

Nice-to-have:

  • Knowledge of industry standard requirement management tools like Confluence, Jira, Azure DevOps.
  • Knowledge and experience in APIs (SOAP, RESTful), Understanding of API basics, API driven design, API Contract, Request and Response. Knowledge of API testing tool such as Postman will be an added advantage.
  • Knowledge of Databases (Relational and NoSQL) and working experience with queries will be added advantage.
