CIVIL3D Designer - Utilities

As a Civil Engineer with over 3 years of experience, your role will involve developing detailed 3D models and designs for utilities infrastructure using Civil3D software. You will collaborate with engineers and stakeholders to integrate utility designs into the BIM project model, ensuring accuracy and completeness of utility models including pipes, drainage, and related components. Your responsibilities will also include performing clash detection, generating construction documents, and supporting the creation of as-built documentation. Additionally, you will stay updated on industry trends and advancements in BIM technology related to utilities, while following company/project BIM standards and best practices. You may also assist in quality control processes and provide guidance to junior team members if applicable. Key Responsibilities: - Develop detailed 3D models and designs for utilities infrastructure using Civil3D software - Collaborate with engineers and stakeholders to integrate utility designs into the BIM project model - Ensure accuracy and completeness of utility models, including pipes, drainage, and related components - Perform clash detection and resolve clashes related to utility elements - Generate construction documents and support the creation of as-built documentation - Stay updated on industry trends and advancements in BIM technology related to utilities - Follow company/project BIM standards, templates, and best practices - Assist in quality control processes and provide guidance to junior team members, if applicable Qualification Required: - B.Tech/BE in Civil Engineering In this role, proficiency in Civil3D software with expertise in utilities design and modeling is essential. You should have a strong understanding of civil engineering principles and design standards related to utilities, along with knowledge of BIM standards and best practices in utilities infrastructure. Excellent communication and collaboration skills are required to work effectively with multidisciplinary teams.
