Civil Engineer – Billing & Site Execution

We are seeking a highly organized and experienced Site cum Billing Engineer to oversee site activities for construction. The candidate will be responsible for site execution, supervision, quality control, preparing client and subcontractor bills and coordination with vendors and contractors to ensure timely completion of the project.

Job Skills

• Regularly liaise with subcontractors, architects, engineers, surveyors, planners, supervisors & anyone else involved in the project.
• Frequently meet with the client to update them on the progress of the project.
• Monitor and interpret technical designs and drawings, ensuring they are applied correctly.
• Prepare and process client bills, contractor bills, subcontractor bills, RA bills (Interim Payment Certificates), and final bills.
• Read and interpret Bill of Quantities (BOQ) documents and project drawings to take out quantities. Measure and verify work done at the site through measurement books and Joint Measurement Records (JMRs).
• Invoicing: Prepare and submit accurate invoices to clients based on project milestones and deliverables.
• Negotiate, agree and oversee (with quantity surveyors) the choice and price of materials to be utilized on the project.
• Issue Resolution: Resolve any billing discrepancies or issues with clients and internal teams.
• Provide cost-effective proposals, solutions and alternatives for the project.
• Provide technical advice and solve any on-site problems that occur.
• Prepare and create site reports, as well as complete any necessary paperwork.
• Ensure that health and safety policies are obeyed.
• Site Coordination: Coordinate with site engineers and project manager to gather necessary information and ensure work progress.
• It’s not always required, but for some projects, you’ll have to communicate with the local authority to make sure you comply with local regulations and by-laws

Qualifications & Skills:

• B.TECH / B.E. in civil
• Minimum 5 years of experience as a Site Engineer, with exposure to construction industry.
• Knowledge of site execution, QA/QC, AutoCAD.
• Strong understanding of civil materials.
• Good communication and organizational skills.
