Civil Draftsman

As a Civil Draftsman at our company located in Udityal, Balanagar(M), Mahabubnagar(Dist), you will be responsible for preparing, developing, and modifying civil engineering drawings and layouts using AutoCAD in accordance with project requirements. Your key responsibilities will include drafting detailed structural, architectural, and civil drawings such as site plans, road layouts, drainage systems, utilities, and foundation details. Collaborating with engineers, architects, and project managers to translate design concepts into accurate technical drawings will be essential. You will be expected to review and update drawings based on engineering changes, design modifications, and client feedback while ensuring compliance with relevant codes, standards, and project specifications. Maintaining drawing records, version control, and documentation for easy retrieval will also be part of your role. Providing accurate quantity take-offs and assisting in the preparation of BOQs (Bill of Quantities) will be required, along with coordinating with site teams for drawing clarifications and issuing revised drawings as necessary. To excel in this position, you must possess proficiency in AutoCAD (2D & 3D) drafting with practical experience in civil and structural drawings. A strong understanding of construction standards, detailing, and technical specifications is crucial, along with the ability to interpret architectural and engineering drawings. Knowledge of survey data, levels, and measurements is important, as well as attention to detail, accuracy, and effective time management. Excellent communication skills are vital for collaborating closely with engineers, architects, and contractors. The qualifications required for this role include a Diploma/ITI in Civil Engineering or Draftsmanship (or equivalent qualification) and certification in AutoCAD. The ideal candidate should have 5-6 years of hands-on drafting experience, primarily in civil/structural projects, demonstrating a track record of delivering precise drawings within deadlines.
