Chief Operating Officer

We are hiring a visionary Chief Operating Officer (COO) to lead the launch and scale-up of our India operations. As one of the founding leaders, the COO will be responsible for building operations from the ground up, ensuring compliance, driving growth, and assembling a high-performing team to deliver long-term business success. 

Key Responsibilities:-

• Lead the branch launch and establish end-to-end business operations in India. 
• Ensure compliance with all local laws, regulations, and corporate governance standards. 
• Drive business growth and profitability in alignment with company plans. 
• Build, mentor, and lead a high-performing local office team. 
• Represent the company with government authorities, partners, and industry stakeholders. 
• Oversee internal process adherence and deliver regular business performance reports. 
• Ensure sustainable revenue flow and operational stability within the first year. 

Expected Results:-

• Successful launch of the India branch with fully compliant operations. 
• Achievement of business growth targets within defined timelines. 
• Establishment of a strong, scalable operational foundation. 

Qualifications & Experience

• Minimum 3 years in a senior leadership role (COO/CEO/General Manager/Business Head) within financial services, fintech, or other high-growth industries. 
• Proven track record of launching and scaling new businesses from the greenfield stage. 
• Experience in managing large teams (50+ people; 100+ is highly desirable). 
• Demonstrated success in building sustainable, compliant businesses. 
• Stable career history with clear progression. 
• Proficiency in English and fluency in at least one Indian language (Kannada, Tamil, Hindi preferred). 
• Must be based in Bengaluru.
