The opportunity
EY GDS Content Center of Excellence is a fast-growing team of talented copywriters, editors, content strategists, thought leadership writers and editorial managers. People in the team provide support for key global EY publications and campaigns. The Assistant Director Social Media Content will devise and drive cohesive, inspiring and sustainable content strategies that elevate the social media presence and reputation of EY leaders. With your exceptional storytelling skills and strong understanding of the digital/social media landscape, you create compelling, engaging and on-brand content that reflects the unique and consistent voice and personality of the leaders. A creative problem solver, you are comfortable advising leaders in situations of ambiguous direction, multiple strategic goals and diverse points of view. Your key responsibilities
Devise the content strategy to build and amplify the social media presence of executive leaders Manage and maintain the content calendar for executive leadership group Create impactful content across multiple formats such as blogs, articles, posts, talk tracks, podcast scripts, video scripts, etc. Ensure that the content is of top-notch quality, consistent and aligned with EYs purpose and editorial strategy Provide recommendations based on the performance of the social media profile and emerging narratives and trends Repurpose content to meet the needs of diverse audience and platforms Provide copywriting support for high-visibility EY programs and campaigns Collaborate with design teams to ensure that content and design complement each other Suggest improvements to the tone and structure of the content Ensure the content is compliant with EY legal and social media guidelines

Adept in creating engaging, inspiring and persuasive B2B content Proven record in managing high-profile social accounts for leaders Deft in devising an engaging narrative technique to communicate impactful business stories as well as personal, motivational stories Good understanding of content strategy principles and processes Deft in writing, editing and has a way with words Experience across a range of digital, social and integrated media Strong conflict resolution, negotiation, influencing and persuasion abilities Ability to build and leverage relationships with and influence multiple internal groups across all levels of the organization
To qualify for the role, you must have
Bachelors or masters degree, preferably in English literature or mass communication Experience in researching and developing content on financial and advisory topics Strong knowledge of content strategy and development and be well-versed with online reputation management skills within the modern digital landscape Up-to-date understanding of social platforms (Twitter, LinkedIn, Instagram, YouTube, Facebook, Pinterest etc.) Sharp knowledge of SEO principles At least 10-12 years of relevant experience
Ideally, youll also have
Creative agency, advertising or Big Four experience Understanding of measurement and analytics of social media and website content
Technologies and tools
Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, Adobe Acrobat/PDF-XChange Experience with social media management systems (e.g., Sprinklr, Hootsuite)
