C++ Developer (MFC)

As a Software Developer, you will be responsible for developing, maintaining, and enhancing a legacy software application built using VC++ and MFC with Oracle database integration. Your primary focus will be to diagnose and resolve software defects to ensure the stability and reliability of the application. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and provide technical solutions that meet the project objectives. In this role, you will be expected to perform code reviews, write efficient code, and adhere to coding standards and best practices. It will be essential to optimize application performance, ensuring scalability and security of the software. You will participate in the full software development lifecycle, from requirements analysis and design to implementation, testing, deployment, and maintenance. Your contribution to the continuous improvement of development processes and tools will be crucial for the success of the project. To qualify for this position, you should possess a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent work experience. You must have at least 5 years of experience in software development using VC++, with a strong emphasis on MFC. A solid understanding of Oracle databases, along with experience in working with SQL, PL/SQL, and database design, is required. Proficiency in debugging, profiling, and optimizing C++ applications is essential. Experience with source control systems such as Git or SVN is preferred. Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team are qualities we are looking for in a candidate.
