Summary:

Business System Analyst (BSA)

Experience & Education Requirements:

• Minimum

  8+ years

  of relevant experience in system/business analysis

• Advanced SQL

  expertise – hands-on and in-depth (Mandatory)
• Proficiency in

  ETL tools

  (e.g., Informatica PowerCenter) – ability to navigate and interpret mappings (Mandatory)
• Strong experience in:

• Data Analysis

  ,

  Root Cause Analysis

  , and

  Impact Analysis

• Creating BSA artifacts:

  BRD

  ,

  FRD

  ,

  SRS

  , and

  STTM

• Data mapping

  ,

  lineage

  , and

  validation

• Reverse engineering

  and documentation of existing logic (Mandatory)
• Experience working in

  Agile environments

  (Preferred)
• Knowledge of

  Azure Databricks

  and

  Azure Data Factory

  (Good to have)

• Azure certification/experience

  (Preferred but not mandatory)
• Familiarity with

  ETL concepts

  and

  cloud technologies

  (Good to have)

Key Responsibilities:

Customer-Facing Activities:

• Analyze current system processes and recommend technology solutions
• Collaborate with stakeholders to assess impact and manage integration
• Translate business needs into detailed functional and non-functional specifications
• Ensure traceability of requirements through design, development, testing, and deployment
• Support testing teams with requirement-based test conditions and expected results
• Provide oversight and guidance to ensure quality, scalability, and innovation
• Identify opportunities for process improvement and innovation

Team Collaboration:

• Foster a positive and collaborative team environment
• Share knowledge and participate in cross-training and development activities
• Stay updated on emerging trends and tools
• Communicate project status and updates effectively
• Mentor and support team members as needed
• Promote diversity, equity, and inclusion within the team
• Represent the business function professionally both internally and externally

Breadth & Depth of Knowledge:

• Advanced understanding of system analysis techniques and processes
• Strong knowledge of supported systems, components, interfaces, and data flows
• Expertise in enterprise technology delivery practices including design, development, testing, and deployment
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
• Reports to a Manager or Practice Lead
