Job Description

As an EMEA Business Operations Manager, you will play a crucial role in advancing initiatives to expand the gift card business throughout Europe, the Middle East, and Africa while managing the ongoing operations to support and expand our business. Your primary responsibility will involve acting as a central point of contact for both internal and external partners, which includes sales, engineering, finance, legal, and suppliers. Your role will encompass ensuring product availability, launching new programs and products, and essentially bringing our team's products to life at retail. Google Play offers a wide range of digital content such as music, movies, books, apps, and games across various devices, all powered by the cloud. The products sync seamlessly across devices and on the web. Within the Android and Mobile team, Googlers dedicated to Google Play are involved in various tasks from engineering the backend systems to shaping product strategies to establishing valuable content partnerships. Their efforts enable users to purchase an ebook or song on their Android device and have it instantly accessible on their laptop. The Google Play team enriches the Android ecosystem by providing developers and partners with a premium store to reach millions of users. Your responsibilities will include managing operations for the EMEA region, encompassing activities like demand planning, inventory management, product fulfillment, and unit forecasting. You will be expected to develop and execute project plans in collaboration with internal and external partners to ensure timely launches of new products, ventures into new markets, and the introduction of new programs. Working closely with regional leads, you will prioritize market initiatives and oversee the operations of vendors responsible for collecting retail intelligence data, integrating market data into comprehensive efforts to maintain product availability. Furthermore, your role will involve coordinating and implementing operational strategies through external distribution partners, as well as identifying and resolving supply chain issues within external distribution networks. You will drive projects focused on process improvement and transformation to streamline operations, improve business performance, analyze retail trends, and propose solutions to boost sales through enhanced stock availability and active stores.,
