Job Description

Role & responsibilities:

Business Analysis

  • Gather, analyze, and document business requirements from stakeholders across different departments.
  • Conduct market research and competitive analysis to identify business opportunities and risks.
  • Create detailed business process maps and workflow documentation.
  • Collaborate with technical teams to translate business requirements into functional specifications
  • Conduct gap analysis between current and desired business states
  • Support product development with user stories, acceptance criteria, and feature prioritization

Project Management

  • Lead cross-functional projects from initiation to closure using Agile/Scrum methodologies
  • Develop comprehensive project plans, timelines, and resource allocation strategies
  • Monitor project progress, identify risks, and implement mitigation strategies
  • Facilitate daily standups, sprint planning, retrospectives, and stakeholder meetings
  • Manage project budgets and ensure deliverables meet quality standards
  • Coordinate with internal teams, vendors, and external partners
  • Maintain project documentation and provide regular status updates to leadership
  • Ensure projects align with business objectives and deliver expected outcomes

Stakeholder Management

  • Serve as the primary liaison between business stakeholders and technical teams
  • Facilitate workshops and requirements gathering sessions
  • Present findings, recommendations, and project updates to senior management
  • Manage stakeholder expectations and ensure clear communication throughout project lifecycle

Technical Skills

  • Proficiency in project management tools (Jira)
  • Advanced knowledge of MS Office Suite, particularly Excel and PowerPoint
  • Understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC) and Agile methodologies
  • Basic knowledge of SQL for data analysis (preferred)
  • Familiarity with process mapping tools (Visio, Lucidchart, Draw.io)

Certifications (Preferred)

  • Project Management Professional (PMP) or equivalent
  • Certified Business Analysis Professional (CBAP)
  • Scrum Master certification
