BMC Helix developer

As a BMC Helix developer at our company, you will play a crucial role in the migration and implementation of BMC Remedy ITSM and Helix platforms. Your responsibilities will include: - Perform hands-on migration of data, workflows, and configurations from BMC Remedy to Helix. - Deploy BMC Helix platform components and configure out-of-the-box and custom workflows for new implementations. - Develop and test REST/SOAP APIs to integrate with third-party applications such as ServiceNow, Jira, Salesforce, and custom tools. - Conduct thorough testing of migrated and newly implemented features and validate integrations to ensure seamless communication between Helix and other systems. - Maintain comprehensive documentation for migration, implementation, and integration activities. - Provide Level 3 support during and after migration/implementation phases and troubleshoot issues related to new configurations, integrations, and feature enhancement. Qualifications required for this role include: - In-depth knowledge of BMC Remedy ITSM and Helix platforms. - Expertise in fresh implementations of the Helix platform and migrating from Remedy. - Proficiency in Discovery, CMDB, Helix GPT, Digital Workplace, and virtual agents. - Strong experience with API-based integrations (REST, SOAP) and third-party system connectivity. Desired skills that would be beneficial for this role: - Experience with cloud platforms like AWS or Azure for hosting Helix, along with Docker and Kubernetes. - Knowledge of ITIL practices and automation tools. - Familiarity with enterprise tools such as EBS (Enterprise Service Bus) and other third-party applications. In addition to technical skills, soft skills required include: - Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities. - Effective communication and stakeholder management. - Ability to lead and collaborate within cross-functional teams. Preferred certifications for this role: - BMC Certified Professional (Remedy/Helix). - ITIL Foundation or higher certification. - Cloud certifications (AWS, Azure, GCP, Docker, Kubernetes). - API and integration certifications (e.g., EBS, Postman, or other enterprise tools).
