Job Title: Business Development Executive – IT Services

Location: Sector 74 Mohali
Job Type: Full-time
Experience: 6 Months – 1 year

Job Summary:

We are seeking a motivated and tech-savvy Business Development Executive to join our IT services team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities, building client relationships, and driving revenue growth by offering customized IT solutions such as web development, mobile apps, software solutions, cloud services, and digital transformation.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities in domestic and/or international markets (B2B).
  • Generate leads through platforms like LinkedIn, Upwork, Freelancer, Clutch, and other sources.
  • Pitch IT services and solutions to potential clients via calls, emails, virtual meetings, and demos.
  • Understand client requirements and work closely with the technical team to propose tailored solutions.
  • Prepare compelling proposals, quotations, and business presentations.
  • Maintain CRM records, sales pipeline reports, and activity trackers.
  • Build and nurture long-term relationships with clients to maximize retention and repeat business.
  • Stay updated with IT industry trends, emerging technologies, and competitor offerings.
  • Achieve monthly/quarterly sales targets and contribute to team success.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, IT, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • Strong communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
  • Understanding of IT services like web/app development, SaaS, cloud solutions, digital marketing, or enterprise software.
  • Familiarity with sales and lead generation tools such as LinkedIn Sales Navigator, HubSpot, Zoho CRM, etc.
  • Self-motivated, proactive, and able to work independently or as part of a team.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Preferred (Not Mandatory):

  • Prior experience in an IT services company or digital agency.
  • Understanding of software development lifecycles (SDLC) or Agile methodology.
  • Experience with international client handling (especially US, UK, Canada, or Australia markets).
  • Familiarity with RFP/RFQ processes and technical documentation.
