Job Description :
  • Minimum 3 years of hands-on experience in Commvault Backup Administraon, with working

    • knowledge of Veritas NetBackup.
  • Design, configure, and manage backup policies and plans across Commvault and NetBackup

    • environments.
  • Set up new client configuraons, perform Commvault agent installaons, and manage backup

    • schedules and retenon policies.
  • Administer snapshot-based backups for physical and virtual servers.

  • Configure and troubleshoot Kubernetes backup operaons and object store integraons (S3-

    • compable plaorms).
  • Perform daily monitoring of backup jobs, idenfying and resolving failures within SLA melines.

  • Ensure backup environment health checks, job success verificaon, and proacve issue management.

  • Apply Commvault patches and updates, ensuring compability with OS and applicaon versions.

  • Troubleshoot backup and restore issues across Windows and Linux environments, escalang complex

    • cases as needed.
  • Maintain documentaon for backup configuraons, restore procedures, and standard operang

    • guidelines.
  • Assist in disaster recovery tesng, ensuring data availability and compliance with recovery objecves.

  • Work closely with infrastructure teams (storage, network, OS) to resolve cross-domain backup

    • challenges.
  • Support 24×7 operaons as part of the backup team, including on-call rotaon for crical incidents.

  • Generate and share daily/weekly reports on backup performance, capacity, and error trends.
