Backend Operations

As an Order Entry Associate at our company located in Malad West, Mumbai, you will be responsible for handling end-to-end order processing for customer purchases during the US-based Night Shift (5:30 PM - 2:30 AM). Your role will involve receiving purchase orders, processing them within the ERP system, and ensuring timely communication with customers regarding order details and stock availability. Key Responsibilities: - Receive customer purchase orders via email and ensure accuracy of all order details. - Process orders in the ERP system with precision and completeness. - Review and index orders within the software for efficient tracking and reference. - Send order acknowledgments to customers, confirming order receipt and providing necessary information. - Communicate with customers regarding stock availability, backorders, and provide timely updates on order status and delivery timelines. - Check real-time inventory levels to confirm stock availability and manage backordered items effectively. - Collaborate with team members to ensure timely order processing and assist with any related inquiries or system issues. - Contribute to team meetings, share knowledge, and suggest process improvements to enhance order processing efficiency. - Ensure consistent and accurate updating and indexing of order details in the system for easy reference. - Respond promptly to customer inquiries regarding order status, delivery, and backorders to maintain high customer satisfaction levels. - Optimize ERP and software usage for effective order management. Skills Required: - Strong attention to detail and accuracy. - Excellent typing and data entry skills. - Proficiency in Excel and other office software. - Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment. Experience: - Previous experience in order processing or similar roles preferred. - Experience with ERP systems and software indexing tools is a plus. - Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and troubleshoot order discrepancies or customer concerns effectively.
