Description
**Role Overview:** As a Backend .NET Engineer at Cognior, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining server-side logic to ensure high performance and responsiveness to front-end requests. Your role will involve designing and implementing APIs, enhancing existing applications, and collaborating with front-end developers to integrate user-facing elements. Attention to detail and the ability to enhance code quality through code reviews and automated testing are essential for this position. **Key Responsibilities:** - Develop and maintain server-side logic using C#, .NET, and .NET Core. - Design and implement APIs, ensuring compatibility with front-end requirements. - Enhance existing applications to improve performance and user experience. - Collaborate with front-end developers to integrate user-facing elements seamlessly. - Conduct code reviews and implement automated testing to maintain code quality. - Utilize SQL databases for writing queries, stored procedures, and triggers. - Work with REST APIs, JSON, and web services to enhance application functionality. - Use version control systems like Git/GitHub for efficient code management. - Apply problem-solving and debugging skills to address technical challenges effectively. **Qualification Required:** - Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. - Solid understanding of C#, .NET, and .NET Core. - Knowledge of OOPs concepts, design patterns, and data structures. - Experience with SQL databases for query writing and stored procedures. - Understanding of REST APIs, JSON, and web services. - Familiarity with Git/GitHub or other version control systems. - Exposure to real-time project work at academic, industrial, or internship levels. - Strong problem-solving and debugging skills. Note: Good to have exposure to cloud platforms (Azure/AWS/GCP), knowledge of microservices architecture, experience with Entity Framework/LINQ, understanding of CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices, and knowledge of message queues like RabbitMQ, Kafka, Azure Service Bus.,
