Job Description

Job Summary

Bluphlux is seeking a skilled Backend Engineer specializing in Java to join our dynamic team. As a Backend Engineer, you will play a crucial role in developing and maintaining the backend systems that power our innovative recruitment solutions. You will work closely with our team of engineers and data scientists to ensure our systems are robust, scalable, and efficient.

Key Responsibilities

Design, develop, and maintain backend services and APIs using Java.
Collaborate with front-end developers and other team members to integrate user-facing elements with server-side logic.
Optimize applications for maximum speed and scalability.
Implement security and data protection measures.
Troubleshoot and debug applications to ensure optimal performance.
Participate in code reviews and contribute to a culture of continuous improvement.

Required Qualifications

Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
Proven experience as a Backend Engineer or similar role.
Strong proficiency in Java and its ecosystems.
Experience with database management and design.
Familiarity with RESTful APIs and web services.
Understanding of code versioning tools, such as Git.

Preferred Skills

Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS or Azure.
Knowledge of microservices architecture.
Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines.
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
