Job Description

Channel Factory is in search of an innovative and dedicated Backend Engineer to join ourgrowing team. In this role, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining impactful webapplications using Django and cloud based technologies with remote, cross functional teams.

Responsibilities

Collaborate with product managers, designers, and other engineers to develop and

deliver backend features

Analyze and optimize code for quality, efficiency, and performance, and provide

feedback to peers during code reviews

Leverage AI coding tools to accelerate development and identify bugs
Establish ownership of components, features, or systems with expert end-to-end

understanding

Collaborate effectively with distributed team members across multiple time zones,

including offshore development teams

Build relationships and foster team cohesion across geographical and cultural

boundaries

Qualifications

4+ years of professional experience in software development
Expert proficiency with Python / Django
Strong understanding of CI/CD pipelines, web infrastructure, and tooling for automated

testing and deployment

Experience with cloud based services (AWS)
Experience with various database technologies (Postgres, OpenSearch, Redis)
Experience with distributed data technologies (RabbitMQ, Celery)
Knowledge of digital social media advertising is a plus
