Backend Developer

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Node.js / Golang Backend Developer to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will have strong experience with server-side development, API development, and scalable backend architectures.

Role Description

Software developer required for inhouse software development. This is a full-time, work-in-office position at LABMAN SCIENTIFIC INSTRUMENTS PVT. LTD. at Kilpauk, Chennai. The applicant will be responsible for backend development.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain backend services using Node.js / Golang.

• Implement RESTful APIs and help in integration with front-end applications.

• Optimize server performance, scalability, and security.

• Work closely with front-end developers, product managers, and mobile developers.

• Manage databases and ensure data consistency across services.

• Debug, troubleshoot, and resolve production issues.

Requirements

• Proven experience in Node.js / Golang backend development.

• Proficiency with frameworks such as Express.js.

• Strong knowledge of JavaScript, TypeScript, and asynchronous programming.

• Experience with databases (MongoDB).

• Familiarity with cloud platforms (Azure, GCP) and containerization (Docker) is a plus.

• Good understanding of API design, security best practices, and microservices architecture.

• Ability to write clean, maintainable, and efficient code.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience).

• 1-2 years of hands-on experience in backend development.

• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
