Back-End Developer Intern (6 Months) – Job Description About the Role

We are seeking a Back-End Developer Intern with strong foundational skills in JavaScript, Node.js, OOPs concepts, data structures (especially arrays), and backend fundamentals. The ideal candidate must be able to write clean code, explain the logic behind their work, and communicate concepts clearly.

Responsibilities

• Develop backend modules and APIs using Node.js and JavaScript.
• Implement server-side logic following OOPs principles and clean coding practices.
• Work with data structures (arrays, objects, functions, loops) and optimize logic.
• Participate in code reviews and clearly explain the reasoning behind each solution.
• Debug issues, test features, and support ongoing backend development tasks.
• Collaborate with the engineering team to understand requirements and deliver tasks on time.

Must-Have Skills

• Strong knowledge of JavaScript and Node.js.
• Solid understanding of OOPs concepts (Encapsulation, Abstraction, Inheritance, Polymorphism).
• Strong understanding of arrays, data structures, and problem-solving.
• Ability to explain code logic clearly and confidently.
• Good communication skills for technical discussions.
• Basic understanding of backend systems, REST APIs, and server-side processing.
• Strong theoretical knowledge supported by basic practical implementation.

Candidate Profile

• Pursuing or recently completed a degree in Computer Science/IT or related field.
• Strong logical thinking with good fundamentals in backend development.
• Able to answer basic backend + OOPs interview questions confidently.
• Eager to learn, adapt, and work in a fast-paced startup environment.

6 Months – Full-time Internship (Onsite/Hybrid as applicable)

Contract length: 6 months

Pay: ₹8,000.00 - ₹12,000.00 per month
