Backend Developer Intern

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain robust, secure, and scalable REST APIs using Django and Django Rest Framework
• Work with PostgreSQL or similar relational databases to design schemas and write queries
• Collaborate with frontend developers and product teams to integrate backend services with client applications
• Assist in debugging, optimizing, and deploying backend services
• Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code following best practices
• Participate in code reviews, sprint planning, and agile development cycles
• Contribute to improving system performance, security, and scalability

Required Skills:

• Strong understanding of Python and Django framework
• Familiarity with Django Rest Framework (DRF) for API development
• Basic knowledge of relational databases like PostgreSQL or MySQL
• Understanding of RESTful API principles and web architecture
• Version control using Git and platforms like GitHub/GitLab
• Good problem-solving and debugging skills
• Awareness of security and performance best practices
