Backend Developer - Golang

As a Golang Backend Developer at Trademarkia in Chennai, India, you will be part of the world's largest visual search engine for trademarked logos, names, and slogans. With a vast database of millions of trademarks and over 120,000 clients globally, Trademarkia provides free software for seamless trademark searches, filings, monitoring, and legal automation processes. Your role will involve writing clean, high-quality, high-performance, and maintainable backend code while developing and supporting backend software and new functionality enhancements. Working closely with diverse international teams and markets, cultural adaptability and global collaboration are essential in this role. Key responsibilities include coordinating cross-functionally to ensure backend projects meet business objectives, supporting testing and deployment of new backend products, and leading the architectural design and implementation of backend systems. To excel in this role, you must have proficiency in Golang or a similar backend language, extensive experience with PostgreSQL and AWS services, a strong understanding of Object-Oriented Design and Database Design, and proven experience in leading and managing backend development teams. Additionally, experience with Elasticsearch, message queues like RabbitMQ and Apache Kafka, and knowledge of industry trends and technologies are crucial to ensure the backend systems remain current and robust. Qualifications for this position include a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field, 3+ years of experience in Backend Engineering, and 1+ years of experience in DevOps/Backend Deployment. Proficiency in Agile or Scrum software development methodologies, excellent multitasking, organizational, and prioritization skills, as well as demonstrated leadership abilities and communication skills are essential. Preferred qualifications include experience with microservices architecture, containerization, orchestration tools, CI/CD pipelines, and automated testing frameworks.
