Backend Developer

Role Overview: You will be responsible for building scalable REST APIs in Django (DRF) and FastAPI, modeling relational data in PostgreSQL, and ensuring reliability through unit/integration tests, coverage targets, and linting. Additionally, you will containerize services with Docker, deploy to Kubernetes clusters, maintain CI/CD pipelines, and monitor application health, logs, and performance. Collaboration with cross-functional teams including frontend, QA, and product will also be a key aspect of your role. Key Responsibilities: - Build scalable REST APIs in Django (DRF) and FastAPI - Model relational data in PostgreSQL; write efficient queries and migrations - Ensure reliability through unit/integration tests, coverage targets, and linting - Containerize services with Docker; deploy to Kubernetes clusters - Maintain CI/CD pipelines; automate build/test/deploy steps - Monitor application health, logs, and performance; assist with incident triage - Write and maintain API docs, runbooks, and change logs - Collaborate cross-functionally with frontend, QA, and product Qualifications: - Hands-on experience with Django/DRF and FastAPI (at least one in production) - Solid SQL skills; comfort with PostgreSQL - Proficiency in Git, code reviews, branching, and PR discipline - Basic understanding of Docker & Kubernetes workflow (build, push, deploy, logs) - Exposure to AWS or Azure for app hosting and storage About Company: Dataviv Technologies takes pride in its client-first approach, emphasizing the importance of problem-solving efficiency while adhering to timelines.
