Back End Developers

As a Backend Developer, your primary responsibility will be to demonstrate proficiency in reading existing codebases, understanding the flow, and effectively troubleshooting or enhancing existing systems. You will design, develop, and maintain back-end services using Java Spring Boot for website management platforms. Additionally, you will be tasked with implementing and managing RESTful APIs to ensure seamless communication between front-end systems and microservices. Collaboration plays a crucial role in this role, as you will work closely with front-end developers, DevOps, and product teams to deliver high-quality software solutions. You will also be responsible for architecting and building scalable and secure microservices for user management, content delivery, order processing, and analytics. In terms of database management, you will leverage PostgreSQL and other databases to design and optimize database schemas, queries, and transactions. Utilizing Azure Cloud Services, you will deploy, monitor, and maintain microservices in a scalable, distributed environment. Ensuring data security is paramount, and you will be required to implement authentication, authorization, and data security using standards such as OAuth2, JWT, and HTTPS/TLS. Furthermore, you will develop and maintain logging, monitoring, and error-handling mechanisms for back-end systems. Quality assurance is a key aspect of this role, and you will conduct unit testing, integration testing, and code reviews to guarantee code quality and reliability. Collaboration with DevOps engineers is essential to automate CI/CD pipelines using tools like Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or Azure DevOps.
