Back End Developer (Nest.js)

The Back End Developer at PwC will be responsible for developing and implementing low-latency, highly performant server-side components by writing efficient, reusable, and maintainable code. You will collaborate with team members to contribute to process and infrastructure improvements, leverage available tools/systems to identify and resolve defects proactively, implement security protocols and data protection measures, and work with frontend developers on the integration of application elements. To be successful in this role, you should have at least 3 years of experience working as a Back-end Developer on enterprise applications. Expert level Nest.js & Typescript experience with components, classes, and associated technologies is required. You should demonstrate good knowledge of popular node libraries/components in the open-source community, brainstorm and collaborate with architects, front-end developers, and product team members, and implement the latest coding trends, tricks/hacks, and best practices. Excellent verbal and written communication skills are essential, along with the ability to interact professionally with a diverse group of people. Experience working with microservice architecture, integrating with external APIs and SDKs, writing testable and maintainable code, and a strong foundation in unit testing is needed. A good understanding of asynchronous programming, proficient knowledge of Git, and experience with both RDBMS and NoSQL databases are also required. Preferred skills include Node.js, Typescript, Javascript, Express.js, NestJs, Couchbase, PostgreSQL, MongoDB, Redis, Jest, Yarn, and NPM.,
