Key Responsibilities: Lead the end-to-end development of scalable, insightful, and visually appealing Power BI dashboards and reports. Act as the primary consultant to clients/business units, gathering requirements, identifying KPIs, and defining data strategies. Design and implement DAX measures and calculated columns for advanced analytics. Build enterprise-grade semantic models and implement Row-Level Security (RLS). Integrate data from various sources: SQL Server, Azure, Excel, APIs, and third-party platforms. Collaborate with data engineering teams to ensure data integrity, quality, and governance. Present data insights and recommendations to C-level executives and stakeholders. Required Qualifications: Bachelors or Master’s in Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Science, or related field. 5+ years of experience in Power BI development, including Power Query, DAX, and data modeling. Proven client-facing or consulting experience with the ability to translate business needs into data solutions. Strong SQL skills and familiarity with ETL tools (e.g., SSIS, ADF). Experience with Power BI Service – workspace management, publishing, sharing, security setup. Familiarity with Microsoft Power Platform (Power Apps, Power Automate). Expertise in performance tuning and data governance best practices. Preferred Qualifications: Experience with Azure Data Services (Azure SQL, Azure Synapse, Azure Data Factory). Certification in Power BI or Microsoft Data Platform (e.g., PL-300, DP-500). Knowledge of scripting languages (Python, R) is a plus. Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments. Soft Skills: Analytical mindset and problem-solving orientation. Ability to manage multiple projects and client demands simultaneously. Self-driven with a consultative mindset.
