Job Description

Job Title:

Job Summary:

We're seeking a highly skilled Azure Security Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have in-depth knowledge of Azure security features, services, and best practices. This role will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining a secure Azure environment, ensuring the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of our cloud resources.

Key Responsibilities:

Azure Security Architecture:

Design and implement secure Azure architectures, including network security groups, virtual networks, and subnets.
Ensure compliance with Azure security standards, such as Azure Security Benchmark and HIPAA/HITECH.

Identity and Access Management:

Implement and manage Azure Active Directory (AAD), including user and group management, conditional access policies, and multi-factor authentication.
Configure Azure role-based access control (RBAC) to ensure least privilege access.

Data Security:

Implement Azure Storage security features, such as data encryption, access controls, and auditing.
Ensure compliance with data protection regulations, such as GDPR and CCPA.

Network Security:

Configure Azure Firewall, Network Security Groups (NSGs), and Virtual Network Security Groups (VNSGs) to secure network traffic.
Implement Azure DDoS Protection to mitigate distributed denial-of-service (DDoS) attacks.

Compliance and Risk Management:

Conduct regular security audits and risk assessments to identify vulnerabilities and recommend remediation.
Ensure compliance with industry-specific regulations, such as PCI-DSS, HIPAA/HITECH, and GDPR.

Incident Response:

Develop and implement incident response plans to quickly respond to security incidents.
Collaborate with the incident response team to contain and remediate security incidents.

Documentation and Communication:

Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of Azure security configurations and policies.
Communicate security best practices and recommendations to stakeholders, including development teams and management.
