Job Description

Role & responsibilities

Azure Migration Architect

Mainly Migrating On prem Workload to Azure

Role:

14 -25 Years of experience in Microsoft Azure (Mainly Migrating On prem Workload to Azure Cloud)
Provide guidance, standards and recommendations to team
Identify, communicate and mitigate the risks in the project.
Work with presales team to review the technical solutions
Demonstrate strong analytical and Technical skillset
Design / Provisioning of Azure Infrastructure
Define standards and processes for Azure provisioning
Leverage automation script/Manage script changes
Design and Migrate the OnPrem Infrastructure to Azure
Co-ordinate meetings, workshops, communications with various parties within and outside the organization to complete all tasks
Manage communication and deliverables from offshore team
Deliver best Practices around provisioning, operations and management of cloud environment
Strong understanding in agile methodologies
Design Azure DevOps Strategy
Build a DevOps Process as per the project requirements on Azure DevOps
Automate the E2E Infrastructure Provisioning through IaC framework - ARM , Terraform, Azure CLI & PowerShell
Automating the process with the right tools
Recommend a migration solution and consolidation strategy with Azure DevOps Tools
Strategize the migration of Onprem build agents to Azure DevOps
Managing Infrastructure configuration and secrets
Manage security and compliance with Azure DevOps
Ability to manage the teams with leadership qualities
Demonstrated technical thought leadership in customer facing situations

Responsibilities:

Primary Skills:

Experience in Migrating Various On Prem Workload to Azure.
Manage End to End migration from onprem to azure.
VM provisioning, PowerShell scripting, Dynamic and Static routing, Configuring Microsoft Internal / External Load Balancers,
Configuring VNets, Subnets, Configuring Azure Active Directory Sync, Configuring Network Security Groups (NGS), Access Control Lists (ACL),
Configuring NICs, Configuring High Availability of SQL Servers,
Experience in Setting up Disaster Recovery for Cloud Environments
Experience in migrating the Infrastructure Workloads (VMs, Applications, Databases, etc.) to Azure
Experience in Recording Machine IOPS and Allocating VM based on client workloads
Experience in Network monitoring using tools like Fiddler and Wireshark, Experience in Azure Backup strategy, Experience in setting up Domain Controllers, Configuring AD Application Proxy.
Experience in Designing micro services architects with Dockers, Azure Containers, and Azure Kubernetes Services.

Secondary Skills:

Hands-on experience in Azure DevOps includes CI/CD Strategies , Self-hosted agents setup
Hands-on Strong experience in Azure technologies that includes Cloud Services Web Apps, API Apps, Worker Roles, Web Roles, Redis Cache, Azure Key Vault, Blobs, Queues, Table Storage, Networking, Service Bus Relays, Service Bus Queues, ACS, Azure Active Directory Federated Authentication, Azure Graph API, ADAMS, Parallel Programming
Hands-on Experience with Integration with various integration with Client networks
Hands-on Experience on configuring and automating Azure Data Services with Azure DevOps - Azure Data Factory, HDInsight, Storage, Hadoop, Azure Data Factory, Service Fabrics, Mongo dB
Good Communication
Strong Documentation skills
Effective Problem solving expertise
Configuration Management Proficiency

Good to have:

LDAP, ADFS, OWIN, Graph API, Connector Space, Metaverse, setting up AD Synchronization rules would be added an Advantage
Knowledge on Azure DevOps and Other DevOps Platform - Jenkins , Puppet , Ansible
Knowledge in Azure Data Services , RDBMS – SQL , Oracle
