Azure DevOps Engineer

Founded in 2020, Veracy Consulting provides Consulting and Development services to Commodities Trading clients across different geographies. We are looking for Azure DevOps Engineer to work as part of our Offshore Support Team. 

Role Overview

We are looking for a skilled DevOps Engineer with strong expertise in Microsoft Azure, Terraform, and Kubernetes to join our engineering team. You will be part of a team that designs, automates, and maintains robust, secure, and scalable cloud infrastructure, working with both standard tools and our in-house provisioning systems.

Key Responsibilities

❖ Design, implement, and manage secure and scalable cloud infrastructure on Microsoft Azure, following best practices.

❖ Develop infrastructure-as-code using Terraform and integrate with CI/CD pipelines.

❖ Manage and optimize Kubernetes clusters, ensuring high availability, monitoring, and performance tuning.

❖ Collaborate with development teams to support microservices, application deployments, and cloud-native design patterns.

❖ Automate operational tasks and contribute to the enhancement of our internal provisioning platform.

❖ Ensure security, compliance, and cost-optimization across all environments.

❖ Participate in incident resolution, 2nd/3rd level support, and on-call rotations when necessary.

Required Skills

❖ 5–7 years of professional experience in DevOps, Cloud Engineering, or Infrastructure roles.

❖ Strong hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure services (e.g., compute, networking, storage, identity).

❖ Proficient in Terraform, infrastructure-as-code principles, and GitOps workflows.

❖ Experience managing Kubernetes clusters (AKS or self-managed).

❖ Strong scripting and automation skills (e.g., PowerShell, Bash, Python).

❖ Familiarity with monitoring tools such as Azure Monitor, Prometheus, Grafana, or similar.

❖ Understanding of CI/CD pipelines and tools (Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, etc.).

❖ Experience integrating SaaS applications with Azure AD and managing access policies.

❖ Comfortable working in hybrid cloud/on-premises environments.

Certifications Required

❖ Azure Administrator Associate (Az-104) and/or Azure Solution Architect (Az-305)

❖ Azure Developer Associate (Az-204) and/or Azure Devops Engineer (Az-400)

❖ Terraform Associate

❖ CKA (Certified Kubernetes Administrator) – This is optional but good to have
