Azure DevOps Engineer

Platform & Infrastructure builds and maintains the core systems that enable efficient and reliable software delivery across the organization. The role covers cloud infrastructure automation, CI/CD pipelines, Kubernetes environments, SDK, data engineering, and observability tooling. The engineer works closely with development teams to provide secure, performant, and developer-friendly environments for both applications and data systems.

Key Tasks & Responsibilities -

• Design and implement infrastructure as code (Terraform, Bicep, Azure, Kubernetes, networking)
• Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines (Azure DevOps)
• Implement and maintain monitoring and alerting systems (e g , Prometheus, Grafana, Azure Monitor) Maintain and extend the internal developer portal (Backstage)
• Build sample or reference applications (C#, TypeScript, Java)
• Support data workloads and pipelines (Spark, PySpark) under guidance

Qualifications, Skills, and Competencies Required

• Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
• Proficient in English (spoken and written)
• Proven experience as a Software engineer or Platform Engineer Proficiency in one or more programming languages (e g , C#, Python, TypeScript, Angular)
• Strong understanding of software development principles and methodologies
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Strong communication and teamwork abilities
• Experience with cloud (Azure) and IaC tools (Terraform, Bicep)
• Familiarity with Kubernetes, networking, and monitoring
• Strong understanding of CI/CD and DevSecOps principles
• Experience with or interest in data engineering (Python, PySpark)
• Qualifications, Skills, and Competencies - 5+ yearsRequired Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
• Proficient in English (spoken and written)
• Proven experience as a Software Engineer or similar role
• Proficiency in one or more programming languages (e g , NET, Python, TypeScript, Angular)
• Strong understanding of software development principles and methodologies
• Experience with version control systems (e g , Azure DevOps)
