Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

Azure Security Operations

Manage and monitor Microsoft Defender for Cloud (MDC) recommendations and security scores.
Analyze and remediate findings from Tenable / VAPT reports including OS-level and configuration vulnerabilities.
Operate and maintain Microsoft Defender for Endpoint (MDE) for threat detection, endpoint protection, and incident response.
Perform patch and configuration remediation activities on Windows and Linux servers.
Coordinate with platform, network, and application teams for closure of high and critical vulnerabilities.
Create automation scripts (PowerShell/Ansible) for repetitive remediation tasks.
Track and report vulnerability closure status and compliance posture to management.
Maintain baselines for server hardening (CIS/NIST) and ensure continuous compliance.Governance & Reporting
Maintain dashboards for security score trends, open vulnerabilities, and SLA adherence.
Participate in VAPT cycles, review findings, and drive timely remediation.
Document incident response actions, exceptions, and security improvement measures.
Work closely with SOC and Cloud Operations teams to improve detection and response coverage.

FinOps (Good to Have)

Assist in Azure Advisor / Cost Management reviews to identify cost inefficiencies related to unused resources or over-provisioning.
