Job Summary: We are seeking an experienced Senior Database Administrator with a strong focus on cloud platforms and database migration projects. The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in MongoDB, Azure Cosmos DB, Azure Database for PostgreSQL, and proven experience migrating databases from Oracle to PostgreSQL, as well as migrating workloads from AWS to Azure. This role requires hands-on experience in NoSQL and relational database migrations, performance tuning, automation, and collaboration across cross-functional teams. Key Responsibilities: Lead and execute end-to-end database migration projects, including NoSQL (MongoDB, Azure Cosmos DB) and relational databases (Oracle to PostgreSQL). Design, implement, and optimize database solutions on Azure Cosmos DB, MongoDB, and Azure Database for PostgreSQL. Manage and troubleshoot database performance, availability, and data consistency issues during migration and post-migration. Automate data transformation, migration, and validation processes using scripting and migration tools. Drive migration efforts to transition database workloads from AWS to Azure. Analyze existing database schemas and stored procedures for migration readiness and perform conversions. Collaborate with architects, developers, and cloud engineers to define cloud-native database architectures and best practices.
