Azure Database Engineer

As an Azure Database Engineer, you will be responsible for designing and developing scalable data pipelines using Azure Data Factory. This includes incorporating SSIS packages where applicable and writing and optimizing T-SQL queries for data transformation, validation, and loading. You will collaborate with the customers" data architects to understand and modernize legacy data integration patterns. Additionally, you will perform relational database design and schema optimization for Azure SQL or Synapse targets. Your role will also involve supporting the migration of on-premise or legacy ETL jobs into cloud-native Azure Integration Services. Key Responsibilities: - Design and develop scalable data pipelines using Azure Data Factory - Write and optimize T-SQL queries for data transformation, validation, and loading - Collaborate with customers" data architects to modernize legacy data integration patterns - Perform relational database design and schema optimization for Azure SQL or Synapse targets - Support migration of on-premise or legacy ETL jobs into cloud-native Azure Integration Services - Conduct unit testing and troubleshoot data pipeline issues during sprint cycles - Provide support during UK overlap hours (up to 8 PM IST) to align with customer teams" collaboration windows Qualifications Required: - Hands-on experience in Azure Data Factory development (SSIS helpful) - Proficiency in T-SQL development - Experience in relational database design - Familiarity with SQL Server Management Studio, Azure Data Studio, Azure Portal, and Visual Studio 2022 - Experience migrating existing integrations to Azure Integration Services Additional Company Details: - Excellent English communication skills are a must. - No employment gaps will be accepted. - Candidates with relevant experience matching the skillset are preferred. - Notice period should be 15 days or less. - Please do not share profiles of Hyderabad natives or JNTU graduates.,
