Azure Data Engineer

As a Data Engineer at our company, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining scalable and efficient data models on the Azure platform. Your key responsibilities will include: - Building and optimizing Extract Transform Load (ETL) processes using tools such as Databricks and PySpark within the Azure ecosystem. - Developing and implementing robust data warehousing solutions leveraging Azure Synapse Analytics. - Applying your expertise in Data Analytics to support the creation of insightful reports and dashboards. - Utilizing your strong knowledge of various Azure services and tools relevant to data engineering. - Working extensively with both SQL and NoSQL databases within the Azure environment. - Collaborating effectively with cross-functional teams to understand data requirements and deliver high-quality data solutions. - Troubleshooting and resolving data-related issues to ensure data quality and integrity. In order to be successful in this role, you must have the following qualifications: - Mandatory experience in Databricks and PySpark. - Good experience in Azure Synapse Analytics. - Proven skills in Data Engineering and Data Modeling. - Hands-on experience with Extract Transform Load (ETL) processes. - Expertise in Data Warehousing and Data Analytics concepts and implementation. - Strong knowledge of Azure services and tools relevant to data engineering. - Experience working with both SQL and NoSQL databases. - Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills. - Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. - 4+ years of experience in Data Skills. Additionally, any experience with the following will be considered a plus: - Experience with data orchestration tools (e.g., Azure Data Factory, Apache Airflow). - Knowledge of data governance and data security best practices in Azure. - Experience with stream processing technologies in Azure (e.g., Azure Event Hub, Azure Stream Analytics). - Familiarity with data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI). - Azure Data Engineer certifications.
