AWS Engineer

Key Roles & Responsibilities

AWS Engineering & Implementation

• Configure and manage cloud infrastructure on

  AWS

  with a strong focus on

  AWS DataSync

  .
• Set up, monitor, and optimize data transfer workflows using AWS DataSync for on-premise to cloud or cloud-to-cloud transitions.
  
• Ensure secure, scalable, and high-performance cloud solutions.
  

Infrastructure as Code (IaC)

• Develop and maintain

  Terraform

  scripts for infrastructure provisioning and automation.
• Manage reusable Terraform modules and support infrastructure versioning.
  
• Implement best practices for IaC to ensure reliability and consistency.
  

Cloud Operations & Management

• Monitor cloud resources, troubleshoot issues, and optimize system performance.
  
• Ensure compliance with security, governance, and regulatory standards (BFS domain preferred).
  
• Perform environment setup, backup configurations, and disaster recovery planning.
  

Collaboration & Delivery

• Work closely with architecture, development, and security teams to support cloud adoption.
  
• Participate in requirement gathering, technical design reviews, and solution architecture discussions.
  
• Support CI/CD processes and assist in production deployments.
  

Documentation & Support

• Maintain technical documentation related to AWS configurations, process flows, and infrastructure design.
  
• Provide L2/L3 support during incidents and cloud-related escalations.
  
• Ensure smooth handover of systems and processes to operations teams.
  

Mandatory Skills

• Strong hands-on experience with:
  

• AWS DataSync

• Terraform

• Core

  AWS services

  (EC2, S3, IAM, VPC, CloudWatch, Lambda, etc.)

Good to Have (Optional)

• Experience in

  Banking/Financial Services

  domain
• Knowledge of Python or shell scripting
  
• Exposure to DevOps tools (Jenkins, Git, Docker, Kubernetes)
  
• Understanding of cloud networking and security controls
