Job Description

As a Cloud Engineer specializing in AWS Cloud App migration, your role will involve focusing on Lift and Shift Migration Automation, EC2 migrations, EKS Migration, and transitioning On-prem storage to EBS, S3, and EFS. Your primary responsibility will be to lead the migration of on-premises applications to AWS, optimize cloud infrastructure, and ensure smooth transitions. Your key responsibilities will include: - Planning and executing migrations of on-prem applications using AWS MGN - Demonstrating a strong understanding of AWS VM migrations using 7Rs Strategy - Possessing a fundamental understanding of EC2, ASG, EBS, EFS, ALB - Designing and implementing automated application migrations - Collaborating with cross-functional teams to troubleshoot and resolve migration issues - Bringing application migration experience, especially with monolithic and microservices webapps - Utilizing strong knowledge of AWS DMS, RDS (Oracle, Postgres, SQL Server, MySql) for Cloud Database migration Qualifications required for this role: - 3+ years of AWS cloud experience - Proficiency in AWS Cloud compute (EC2, EKS) and Storage (S3, EBS, and EFS) - Strong knowledge of AWS cloud services and migration tools - AWS & Terraform certification is preferred,
