About the Role:

AWS Cloud Engineer

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, deploy, and manage

  AWS infrastructure

  using services like EC2, S3, Lambda, RDS, VPC, CloudFormation, and IAM.
• Implement

  CI/CD pipelines

  for automated deployment using tools like

  Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or AWS CodePipeline

  .
• Monitor and optimize cloud resources for performance, scalability, and cost-efficiency.
  
• Ensure

  cloud security

  by managing IAM roles, policies, encryption, and compliance.
• Automate operational tasks using

  Terraform, CloudFormation, or Ansible

  .
• Perform system troubleshooting, incident management, and root cause analysis.
  
• Collaborate with development, QA, and DevOps teams to ensure smooth deployments.
  
• Maintain documentation for infrastructure setup, policies, and standard operating procedures.
  

Required Skills & Experience:

• 25 years

  of hands-on experience in

  AWS Cloud Engineering

  or

  DevOps

  roles.
• Strong understanding of AWS services —

  EC2, S3, Lambda, ECS, CloudWatch, CloudTrail, Route 53, and RDS

  .
• Proficiency in

  infrastructure as code (IaC)

  using

  Terraform

  or

  AWS CloudFormation

  .
• Experience with

  Linux/Unix administration

  and

  shell scripting

  .
• Hands-on experience with

  CI/CD tools

  (Jenkins, GitLab CI, or similar).
• Familiarity with

  Docker

  and

  Kubernetes

  for containerized deployments.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
  
• Good understanding of

  networking concepts

  — VPC, subnets, security groups, load balancers, etc.

Preferred Qualifications:

• AWS Certified Solutions Architect – Associate or equivalent certification.
  
• Experience with

  Python

  or

  Bash scripting

  for automation.
• Exposure to

  monitoring tools

  like Prometheus, Grafana, or ELK Stack.
• Familiarity with

  DevOps practices

  and

  Agile development

  .

Education:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
