You must have a minimum of 5-7 years of experience in the financial sector/equity research house and Investment Banking firms. Prior experience working closely with senior management is preferred. Your qualifications should include an MBA/PGDM in Finance from a premier institute or CA/CFA (with Articleship experience from Big 4 accounting firms). Your functional competencies should cover Financial Modeling, Valuation Analysis, Due Diligence, Excellent Business Development Skills, and Strong Customer Relationship Management. On the behavioral side, you should possess leadership qualities, be a team player, have an eye for detail, a passion for analytical finance, excellent organizational skills and work ethic, excellent oral and presentation skills, and the ability to work on several assignments concurrently within a fast-paced environment. The location for this position is BKC, Mumbai, and the business area is Investment Banking. Your job purpose will be to execute business development strategies for target sectors and clients for M&A products and deals. You will be responsible for leading the preparation of investment memoranda and presentations for management and the board of directors. Additionally, you will assist the SBU Head with the development of border strategic initiatives, manage and conduct quantitative and qualitative analysis of complex data, and develop detailed sector reports and updates. You will also be involved in monitoring industry M&A development, assessing implications for Singhi Advisors, identifying and evaluating potential acquisition and investment opportunities, researching and approaching merger and acquisition targets through multiple channels, developing various types of financial models, and preparing and reviewing material used in the financing of clients. Your role will also include executing industry analysis of prospects, coordinating due diligence, analysis, and documentation of live transactions, submitting reports of analysis of company fundamentals and financial statements, tracking key metrics, supporting overall project management of M&A transactions, and participating in legal negotiations regarding transaction-related contracts with external counsel. Collaboration is key in this role as you will need to develop a deep understanding of identified sectors with high M&A potential, build relationships with key players and decision-makers in that sector, and maintain healthy relations during the period of M&A Deal from formulation to execution, ensuring future business potential.
