AVP Manager - .Net

As an AVP - Manager of Software Engineering at Moodys Ratings Technology Team, your primary responsibility will be to design, develop, and maintain software applications using Angular, ASP.NET Core, and other Microsoft Technologies. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and implement new features. Your role will involve participating in all phases of the development lifecycle, from concept to deployment, ensuring that the code adheres to quality standards and meets functional specifications through active participation in code reviews. Additionally, you will troubleshoot, optimize, and upgrade existing systems as necessary. It is essential to document development phases and monitor systems to ensure they meet both user needs and business goals. To excel in this role, you must have a minimum of 10 years of hands-on software development experience and expertise in Angular, .NET, and Microsoft Technologies. Managing and leading teams is a current experience requirement. Familiarity with architecture styles/APIs such as REST and RPC, along with experience in implementing web-enabled applications in ASP.NET Core, C#, HTML5, JavaScript, TypeScript, JSON, REST, CSS, and SQL, is essential. Experience with cloud platforms like AWS and/or Azure, familiarity with SQL Server, and understanding of design/architectural patterns like Model-View-Controller (MVC) are also necessary. An understanding of Ratings and Structured Finance is preferred. A BS/MS degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related subject is required to qualify for this position.
