AVP- Database Engineer

As an experienced Database Engineer joining the data engineering team in Mumbai, your role will involve utilizing your expertise in Oracle SQL and PL/SQL, as well as working with Oracle Cloud, Python scripting, ETL processes, Big Data technologies, and Data Warehousing. Your knowledge of SAS will be a valuable asset for collaborating with analytics and reporting teams. Excellent communication skills are essential for translating business requirements into technical solutions effectively. Key Responsibilities: - Design, develop, and optimize Oracle database solutions using SQL and PL/SQL. - Implement and manage applications on Oracle Cloud Infrastructure. - Write Python scripts for data automation, transformation, and validation. - Apply Big Data principles to support large-scale data processing. - Design and maintain robust ETL workflows and data pipelines. - Build and support Data Warehouse solutions ensuring performance and reliability. - Collaborate with technical and business teams, especially data stakeholders, to fulfill data requirements. - Utilize SAS knowledge to support data analysis and reporting initiatives. Required Skills: - Strong proficiency in Oracle SQL and PL/SQL. - Experience with Oracle Cloud services. - Solid knowledge of Python programming. - Understanding of Big Data technologies like Hadoop and Spark. - Experience with ETL tools and processes. - Familiarity with Data Warehouse design and optimization. - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for team collaboration. Qualifications: - Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field. - Relevant certifications such as Oracle Certified Professional or OCI certifications. Preferred Skills: - Experience with SAS for data analysis, reporting, or integration. - Background in data analytics, data modeling, or performance tuning. - Prior work experience as a business consultant interacting with multiple stakeholders. - Familiarity with additional programming/scripting languages.,
