Job Description

The Specialized Analytics Senior Analyst role is a senior professional position where you will apply your in-depth disciplinary knowledge to contribute to the development of new techniques and processes within the designated area. You will integrate subject matter expertise and industry knowledge to enhance workflows and processes. Your role will require a comprehensive understanding of how different areas interconnect within the sub-function, aligning with the function's objectives and overall business goals. As a seasoned professional, you will evaluate moderately complex issues with significant potential impact, weighing various alternatives using multiple sources of information. Your analytical skills will be essential to filter, prioritize, and validate complex and dynamic material effectively. Strong communication and diplomacy skills are crucial, and you will often take on leadership roles within teams, providing coaching and training to new team members. Your influence will have a significant impact on projects, geography, and overall team performance within the area of specialization. Responsibilities: - Work with large and complex data sets to evaluate, recommend, and support business strategies - Identify and compile data sets using tools like SQL and Access to predict, improve, and measure key business outcomes - Document data requirements, collection, processing, cleaning, and exploratory data analysis, including utilizing statistical models and data visualization techniques - Specialize in marketing, risk, digital, and AML fields - Assess risks in business decisions while upholding compliance with laws and regulations Qualifications: - Minimum of 7 years of experience - Proficiency in data retrieval and manipulation - Advanced analytical and problem-solving skills to address business questions innovatively - Ability to build partnerships with cross-functional teams - Experience in a quantitative field, preferably in the Financial/Credit Card industry - Willingness to learn and a can-do attitude - Excellent communication, interpersonal, organizational, and detail-oriented skills Education: - Bachelor's/University degree or equivalent experience Please note that this job description offers an overview of the primary responsibilities associated with the role.
